The Seattle, WA band known as Bench Grinder is bringing back the best of the 90s surge of the alternative rock that was born at the hands of Nirvana, Weezer and Smashing Pumpkins. Members Chris, Bo, Tommy, Ryan & Zach take pride in this assertion and the result is some of the most refreshing music on the scene today. There is a sense of play in the songs of Bench Grinder that has gone missing among some of the more mainstream artists in this genre. "Music has become a lot like organized religion. Everyone takes themselves so seriously they forgot what it's all about. We just try to entertain people and have a good time doing it. And so far, so good!" says the band.
